@hypebeatart: Duct-taped bananas are being sold for $120,000 USD each at #artbasel Miami Beach 2019. The mind behind the work of art is 59-year-old Italian artist @mauriziocattelan. The work’s first edition apparently came from a local Miami supermarket and sold to a Frenchman for $120,000 USD by @galerieperrotin, an international art gallery, according to Artnet.com. A second edition also sold to another Frenchman for the same price with a third edition reportedly sell for an even higher price at $150,000 USD. Click the link in our bio to learn more. This man just ate an art exhibit at @artbasel selling for $120,000...a banana duct taped to the wall (swipe right). Really. Not good news, but had to share... that’s some valuable potassium. The man is identified as David Datuna. Video via @antonanzasma I am selling my strawberry art— $1,000 each. 😅 #thisisbananas#justbananas#bananagate
Art Basel Miami 2019 couldn’t be off to a better start! I created five original pieces of art that each took over a week to design and complete! With just two more days left and two more pieces to sell, I’d say this is a dream come true. This is never a solo mission, so thank you to my family, friends, and close supporters! @samuelsohn #sponsored
In MIAMI or LUXEMBOURG this weekend? I have my resin works on show in both locations including ‘RIVER’ 75cm x 150cm. DM for more details 🌴 _______________________________________ ✉️ [email protected]#natbowen

Last night @slssouthbeach was the most beautiful show! Beyond thankful for @jasonperezart and all the hard work that he’s put into this week. • I’ll be at Basel House today and tomorrow (2308 NW 5th Ave, Wynwood). Hope to see you there🖤
