What was your most recent breakthrough? No matter how big or small, there is a first for everything! Today was my first time getting this toe tap sequence and mannnnn, did that ever feel good 🔥 - I still remember how freaking impossible a simple handstand staggered legs used to feel.. I would cry because I wanted it so bad and would just keep falling. Moments like this remind me that every fall was worth it to get back up again and reach this moment. Today when I practice my beginner OAHS drills I’ll fall over more times than seconds I’ll hold.. but in a couple of years time, I should have a wicked before and after video👌
An old Cherokee told his grandson, “My son, there is a battle between two wolves inside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies, and ego. The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness, empathy, & truth.” The boy thought about it, and asked, “Grandfather, which wolf wins?” The old man quietly replied, “The one you feed.”
I love the fall, it’s a season of change, of letting go and creating space for new things 🍂 - now I just have to learn how to let go all that tension in my face 😅 (also just found out where all those expressions lines in my forehead are coming from, please send help 😰) #yoga#fall#yogaeverydamnday#armbalance

“Some birds are not meant to be caged, that's all. Their feathers are too bright, their songs too sweet and wild. So you let them go, or when you open the cage to feed them they somehow fly out past you. And the part of you that knows it was wrong to imprison them in the first place rejoices, but still, the place where you live is that much more drab and empty for their departure.” Stephen King • • Day 4 #scarygoodasanas The Birds 🦅 Hosts @shreeyoga @innerdiamondyoga @milena.moon @twistedgalpal @traveling_yogigirl Sponsors @aloyoga @alo.moves • • I’m not a fan of The Birds movie but sticking with the bird theme I found a quote from my favorite scary story author Stephen King. I love this quote, I think the key is to let such birds come & go, offering security & freedom, allowing balance.
