WELLBEING  There is lots of information about activities like meditation & yoga, these seem to be the top influencing go-to's for calm, relaxation. I talk about mediation as a way to bring calm to your nervous system, bring down your adrenalin & therefore calm the mind from scanning/focusing on 'is there a danger?' This is the process of anxiety & for ME meditation is definatly a go-to when I start to notice I feel wound Up, I have not been making break time a priority. . I prefer a guided meditation especially a visual one. Allowing my mind to visualise my body in a wonderful calm place helps me a lot, I connect. . But what if that doesn't work for you? Maybe like myself just stopping & waiting to mediate with no guide I do find quite hard. Does that mean I've failed? Nooooo, it means I'm not feeling that way, I appreciate the visual side. Does that mean I'll NEVER enjoy meditation like this? Noooooo, because I have managed to enjoy 1 full hour with a group before & it was magical. . If what works for me doesn't seem to click for you does that mean you won't find calm? Nooooooo😊 . YOUR WELLBEING LOOKS LIKE whatever works for you. . There is more than one way to bring calm & there is lots to try. I didn't know I would gel with guided meditation until I tried it & what if I had believed it would never work for me & stopped myself from trying it? Well I would never know, feel the benefits. . WELLBEING an action that brings you joy, calm, fullfillness, purpose, love, focus, a feeling of getting away, a mini break, contentment. Etc. . I’m currently working on so many exciting projects, the CBT course, yoga classes and workshops, the UNSTUCK course and mini trainings in the Yogi Mind Tribe. It has become even more important to schedule time for self-care.  Because we don’t just need self-care when we are stressed, we need it when are doing exciting things too because that’s what stops us tipping that fine balance between an energetic exciting schedule and an oh no, how am I this busy schedule!  For me:  Movement is paramount, everyday workout or do yoga and try to get a walk in somewhere as well.  Meditation is key, I like to do this after my workout and when I first get into bed, normally 10 minutes!  Brain breaks - time when I don’t have to think about any of those things, this week I’m meeting friends for the theatre and going to the cinema with Steven!  Drinking enough water - I know it’s boring but it also makes such a huge difference! I’ll never get over this…. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I haven’t made any improvement… 🤦🏼‍♀️ I thought my anxiety was better, and now omg it’s back… 🤦🏼‍♀️ Nothing is working… 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m a mess… 🤦🏼‍♀️ Do you ever tell yourself these things? 🤷🏼‍♀️ When we are growing and expanding, we always fall back into old patterns.  It happens to me.  I think I have it all figured out.  I’m feeling great.  I’m thinking super positive.  I feel my mantras in every bone in my body.  My anxiety is only a memory.  I can’t figure out why that other girl (the old me) worried so much….poor girl. ☀️ I am one with The Universe! ☀️ And then…it happens! 😫 OMG! 😫 I get out of alignment.  The devil gets in, and I can’t hear God’s voice for the life of me. 😳 Where did it go? 😳 Here is the difference though…  Now when I fall back into old patterns, I see it from a difference perspective. I still experience it.  But it’s almost as if I’m watching myself go through it from above.  I observe it with more curiosity.  I know I’m making improvements deep in my bones, so I don’t judge myself as much for not being perfect. Fear is not my norm or default setting anymore, so it’s super uncomfortable.  By not judging it, but simply curiously observing this pattern, it doesn’t last as long. ⭐️ I find the vibration of love again. 💜 Sometimes the realignment happens in purple lipstick at a pumpkin farm! The first part in healing yourself with food is to understand that food isn’t the problem. .  The reason your struggling to achieve your goals is your mindset, and your conditioning. .  It’s been said that up to age 7 we are merely a construct of subconscious programming and is similar to hypnosis. We haven’t learned anything but what we have been taught. . . So why is it your trying to lose weight? Are you trying to fill a specific need that has not been met? Are you desperate to love yourself and you think that losing weight is going to fill that need? . . You’ve gotta heal yourself first, lay down the foundation. Your not flawed; your not broken and you don’t need “fixed” you simply need some clarity. . . Your programming isn’t your fault and it can be changed and programmed to suit a better life and everything that serves you then, may not serve you now and by finding that hard stuff out, will help you move forward. 💓

'I won't do that because it makes me feel anxious, I'm actually quite fearful so let's not'. But what happens?  It doesn't work! You end up with fear gaining some more of your life & avoiding is becoming difficult plus more anxiety comes with it. . 👉. A little anxiety is normal, a little adrenaline gives you that bit of a push to get through example: a job interview, quick thinking a bit of ability. So fearing a little anxiety because: we are talking about it & it now seems anxiety is something to be afraid of could scare you. Fear is a cause of anxiety! . 👉. Situations that cause anxiety to be high are for example  Constant stress & fear Blocking emotions Hormone imbalance  Poor nutrician Your body may need more of a vitamin or mineral Never stopping Etc. . 👆Causes your mind to sense a danger to you, sends a message to your adrenal gland to start stress hormones to be active & if your life is mostly the above, this causes anxiety most of the time.  Causes👉by choices made by us & things we cannot control, & fear. . SO WHY? Why isn't avoiding/self-protection working? you're  avoiding what causes you to feel anxiety. . Because if you avoid what you are afraid of its a signal to your mind that. 'Ok, we are avoiding what's fearful, that means it must be a true danger.' Danger =anxiety . Then whenever you think about what you're avoiding it feels worse. . The only way to get past the fear of anxiety. I.E FEAR  of going out  of socialising  of food of ??? . Exposure. You think it will be terrible, so it FEELS fearful, anxious. That's why you get the anxiety. Once you've pushed through the feeling of anxiety. It gradually passes. . The stress hormones peak & then drop back down to normal levels. You'll feel tired but this is a message that says to your mind.
Your anxiety is NEVER going to be gone forever 🤷🏼‍♀️ . You can improve and transform your life, but fear and anxiety will still be a part of your experience. 😱 . As a matter of fact, if you want to continually grow and live up to your full potential, you can expect fear/anxiety to be involved! Our brain’s job is to keep us safe and our brain also happens to register “change” as 🚨DANGER🚨 . So if our plan is to continually grow, yet our brain is telling us “This is unfamiliar territory! This is dangerous!” then what we need to do, is change our relationship to anxiety. 😅 . For me, anxiety used to mean “STOP! You can’t do this! This feels scary! You’re clearly not good enough!” 😭 . But now that I have the understanding around where it comes from- I know that anxiety is created in the mind and creates a physical feeling in the body. For me, I experience anxiety as increased heart rate, heaviness in my chest / pit of my stomach, sometimes tightness in my throat, and overwhelm. - and because I know this, I know that the feeling of anxiety doesn’t mean I am incapable of doing things. The feelings that come with anxiety can coexist while I do the brave things... While I film videos and get vulnerable for people online, while I get on stage and talk in front of a bunch of people, while I have difficult conversations with people... I still experience anxiety, but it no longer means “stop”. ✨ . The cool thing is, the more you face the things that scare you, the easier it starts to become and the more you heal! With continual growth, there will always be new levels to face and I have proved to myself that no matter how scary a task may seem, I am safe and I am capable! 🙌🏻 . So who wants to grow!? 🙋🏼‍♀️ If you do, you have to start getting comfortable with being uncomfortable and remember, you are safe and growth is SO WORTH IT! ❤️ . PS. 🖊NEW BLOG POST🖊 . “A few days ago my sister phoned me asking if I could have my niece as her boyfriend was called into work last minute and my sister also had work until 7pm. In the past this was something I completely avoided as the thought of being responsible for a one year old was just too much for me. However, I have my niece a lot now and I really, really enjoy it so I said yes to having her from lunch time until 7. It was raining all day, so me and Kaliss (my niece) was just spending time drawing, painting, watching endless amounts of CBeebies and reading books . My friend phoned me asking if I’d drive to Islington with her as she’s never been before and didn’t want to go alone but she needed to go and pick a cage up. It was 45 minutes there and back. I thought, well at least it gets Kaliss out for a little bit as she absolutely loves a car ride, so I said sure, we’d come along...” . Danny Zuko weather. . Even though my life isn’t riddled with crippling anxiety anymore... there’s still so much unpacking and stuff that needs work . I find the one and only fool proof method in that process is inviting the Holy Spirit into everything . When I get pulled too far from that relationship . get too confident in my own abilities to do stuff and deal with people & situations . I get exhausted, short tempered, and lose sight of the good and focus on the negative . It’s a slippery slope but I have EXCELLENT support and love to draw me back in! . If you’re feeling negative, low, sad, jealous, or in the wrong place . Try inviting the Holy Spirit into your life- your thoughts, your words, your heart . The story on the inside becomes the story on the outside. Each of our reality is a reflection of our internal state of being. • When you look out right now – everything is a reflection of what you believe you deserve. Whenever we want something, that means we don’t currently have it. Wanting something you don’t currently have is a very different vibration of currently having it. • More powerful than REALLY wanting something, needing it, and chasing it, is mentally uniting yourself with it. • The way you mentally unite with what you want is by uniting with it on the inside—internally. • A lot of people will say, I WANT to be anxiety free. The vibration of wanting makes it harder to attain. It’s like when you like someone, and you are constantly chasing them, they move farther away from you. • Instead, move into the vibration of already having it. You are already anxiety-free. Our story on the inside always shows itself on the outside, so if your story is you are already anxiety-free, then that is exactly what appears in your reality. • Change the STORY you tell yourself. Make sure the story you tell yourself is vibrationally in alignment with what you want.
