Bonbons upon Bonbons upon bonbons 😍 Yet another full on busy day making bonbons for my company @art__chocolat! Christmas is definitely coming, just starting to ramp up now 👍🏼 However, I have noticed that some of you are missing my regular daily chocolate creations, and all that kind of content I normally put out. I just want to tell you guys that I haven’t stopped that and won’t stop it. Each time I go to make something I get busy again with @art__chocolat! I’m struggling to find the time to balance both of them at the moment, but don’t be disheartened. I will be back with my chocolate creations on the daily soon, I’m just trying to get myself and @art__chocolat organised first so I can be ready for my first ever Christmas as a business (which apparently is a steep learning curve) 😂 But yeh, the daily creations are coming back guys, so don’t worry! And they’ll be even better than before 😍 Thank you all for your amazing support and patience, I love every single one of you guys 👌🏼❤️

Eleven piglets! Porcini literally means pig-like in Italian 🐖 I suppose because of their chubby stature! The traditional British name for these mushrooms is Penny Bun and their caps at this size really do resemble little buns don't they?! People often call them Ceps these days after the French name for them, Cèpes. Their German name Steinpilz means stone mushroom because of their firm flesh, and the Dutch call them Eekhoornjesbrood which translates to squirrel's bread! 🍞 . Whatever they're called, it's always a thrill to find them and a privilege to taste them. I'll be serving some of these at my last Forage, Cook and Eat course of this year in East Sussex - still a few places if you'd like to join us, link in bio. . Even though picking them is very unlikely to affect the future appearance of the mushrooms (fruiting bodies) because most of the organism is underground, I leave the smallest ones to grow (unless they've already been knocked over) and larger, older ones to keep releasing their spores. . #pennybuns#ceps#cepes#porcini#eekhoornjesbrood#steinpilz#fungihunting#fungiforaging#foraging#foraged#wildfood#wildfoodlove#wildfeast

Today (17/10), The Princess of Wales carried out engagements in East Sussex. First stop was at the new Dream Centre at Chailey Heritage Foundation to officially open it, accompanied by her sister, Annabel Elliot. The multi-purpose centre features a sports hall, stage, immersive sensory zone and specialist rebound therapy facilities. With its versatility and 21st century innovations, the new centre will provide young people with complex disabilities the opportunity to participate in engaging activities. As she unveiled the plaque, HRH remarked, “My mother was a volunteer here for 17 years. She loved this place, and she loved the children and loved the people she worked with.” Rosalind Shand unfortunately passed away on 14th July 1994, having long suffered from osteoporosis. Next, in her role as President, Camilla went to the Ditchling Museum of Art + Craft to view their Typography exhibition and meet artists and craftspeople in the William & Margaret Rowling Gallery, before seeing their new exhibition Disruption, Devotion + Distributism, which showcases over 400 St Dominic’s Press pamphlets and posters. The Museum displays local works, allowing visitors to see artwork in the place where they were made. The Princess also met school children using their Clore Learning Space as part of the after school Museum Club. Third engagement was at the Rape Crisis Centre for Sussex and Surrey, where she met with survivors of sexual violence. The visit marks the 10th year anniversary since Camilla first visited the Rape Crisis Centre in south London based in Croydon in November 2009. Not much is known about the engagement beside this. The final engagement was at the Bolney Wine Estate in Haywards Heath to tour the grounds with Sam Linter, Managing Director and chief wine maker. The award-winning wine estate is now being run by third generation members of the family. It has the potential to produce 500,000 bottles of wine. Camilla went on to unveil a plaque, before

Ahh kids (almost) in bed. Just dinner, ironing, packing for us, packing for them (they're staying with nan), collecting a suitcase and trying to squeeze in some sleep. I haven't even decided what to take with yet. Eeeeek anyone else leave EVERYTHING till the last minute? #offtovegas
I've pretty much completely lost track of who gave us what when it comes to felicity's things... almost everything we have is a hand-me-down from some lovely people we know from festivals/family friends (and some from my landlords, who'da thunk it! There are lovely landlords out there somewhere). . . In this "buy buy buy" culture we live in, companies try to target us with all sorts of pointless things that we supposedly "need" for our little humans. Most of it is codswallop in my opinion! Babies do not need elaborate things. Feed em, clothe em, and love em real good. She has some toys that used to belong to our friend's little girl, and we shall continue to hand things down when we're done with them. Of course not all of us know people with children (or in my case know people who know people with children...) but I think it is sooo important to source secondhand wherever you can! . . Does she look any less cute in a secondhand dress? 💁🏻♀️ . . #sustainability#sustainableparenting#motherhood#singlemotherhood#singleparenting#secondhand
On Thursday, The Duchess of Cornwall opened the new Dream Centre at Chailey Heritage Foundation, a multi-purpose centre that features a sports hall, stage, immersive sensory zone and specialist rebound therapy facilities in East Sussex. With its versatility and 21st century innovations, the new centre will provide young people with complex disabilities the opportunity to participate in engaging activities. The Duchess of Cornwall was joined by her sister Annabel Elliot for the engagement and together they planted an apple tree in their mother Rosalind Shand’s memory who volunteered at the charity for 17 years.
